i think they look good. the only thing that would concern me would be if they crack and/or the welds let go. they are significantly lighter than any of the competitive headers, so the header material has to be much thinner. time will tell. hell, for that price, who cares? smoking deal. it'd be great if you could get some dyno runs done.

They look fine to me, the collectors are nice. As Dog said, my only concern is the weight and thin tubing used. FWIW, call Joe up he will give you a very competitive deal I am sure!

I have both the ZTek headers and the exhaust. Compared to the FabSpeed cat bypass, which I also have, the ZTek appears to be of the same gauge SS. The welds look BETTER than the FabSpeeds. I am a very adept welder and can tell you the Ztek welds have excellent penetration as the bluing extends in a manner consistent with such. The bead itself is perfect - just like a roll of coins tipped over. At 6 pounds per header, the weight savings is superior. SS will not denigrate from exhaust gasses, nor rust, nor anything else – hence the name. So, the gauge, although seemingly congruent to the FabSpeed, is irrelevant. Since the welds look so good, there is little chance of cracking. I am totally confident that these headers will last at least as long as the cat bypass. Which, by the way, cost the same as either the headers OR the exhaust.

Ztek headers and exhaust - $999.00
FabSpeed cat bypass - ------ $550.00
Type 911 Quad tips -------- -- $465.00

Total ------------------------ $2,014.00 – for a complete SS exhaust. That’s the best deal out there fellas.

headers can crack and stainless steel can corrode. don't ask me why, but it can. i'm not saying your stuff will, but it does happen. there's been plenty of posts over the years to confirm this.

i never weighed the stock headers, but they sure felt a little heavier than 6 pounds.

Stockers 7Lbs and some change... I agree at $1600 (Used my own tips, new OEM gaskets, bolts, and Fabspeed Tip clamps) The price and quality is hard to beat. I paid $499 for my Fabspeed Bypass found a drop ship shop on ebay.
