Hey Alex,

She is still around here...let me know anytime you need to take her out for a ride.

I changed the wheels to black Fikses, added harnesses, and a CF hood. She still runs like a champ. Drove her last Saturday and it was just simply wonderful. I still can't get over how good the car handles and the brakes are simply CRAZY. They seem to defy the laws of physics.

Thank you again for selling me such a wonderful car.

I got a chance to buy an alcantara headliner and in changing it out I got into a LOT of trouble...

 

I had to take the seats out, the roll bar out, rear side panels out, A/B/C pillars out, and next thing I knew the interior was gutted.

 

So I decided to change the interior from Blue to Grey/Black.

 

I got help from a couple of the forum members in sourcing the interior pieces and how to take the dash out. Thank you Frank.

 

This was a very informative DIY. You can feel the quality and how well things fit. Very Germanic.

Note the throtle cable running down the middle of the drive side. No e-gas for me.

 

I was really tempted to remove all the airbags, but come to my senses and left things be...

 

It was time to put the interior back in before the thoughts of a gutted interior (lighter car) on a permanent basis took over.

Here is the headliner installed. I love alcantara.
