Just about to start some mods on a 996 C4S. Here are some pics. Doing the K&N Intake and Agency Power Exhaust. Here is a before dyno. Will have the after dyno soon and sound clip!

OK, finished it. The car made a good change. The ECU is still learning. Only 30 miles were put on the car. So I expect a redyno in 2 weeks to gain about another 5HP. Stock ECU, but we will probably go with the Upsolute to smooth out the curves and gain some more. The goal was 20hp increase. Peak is there, but before and after a little low.

Shoot, my buddy with a 996 was hoping the news wouldv'e been better. But then again I did mention that it is very difficult to get much more out of the non-TT/GT3 based engine without forced induction. That may be his route instead now. Thanks for testing and look forward to the final results.

 

Am I missing something, what were the after numbers?

 

about a 15HP and TQ increase. Probably will shoot to 20 on the next dyno after the ECU learns the new intake.
