Rear seats

Does anyone know if the rear seats in a cab are smaller than those in a coupe. seems to me the convertible top must take away some space. I have a 2003 996 cab and those seats seem to be super cramped even for small kids.

Cab rear seats tilt a little forward due to the soft top. Coupe's seat back is slightly more comfortable but not by much.

Good news is when top is down, the rear is actually much more bearable since there is more headroom. However, it does get windy in back.

Depending on how big is your kid. I've had 3-5 yr olds and they love it. I'd imagine kids over 5' will be a little cramped. I've sat in back for 1 hr before and it was painful but not impossible.

Cruiser, the rear seats in the cab have the backrest angled slightly forward (rather than slightly rearward in the coupe) to accomodate the top and the rollover hoops, which makes the space smaller than the coupe (although the size of the seat cushions is the same).

Yeah, the back seats in the cab are slightly angled forward and are probably even more uncomfortable than the coupe seats, something my youngest son doesn't let me forget since he is the one that gets stuffed back there most often due to the pecking order.

It does get VERY windy back there. He almost lost his glasses one time. That happened a while ago and he still occasionally brings it up.
