Insurance

About how much is everyone paying for their insurance per year? What is your deductible?

Before 25, my insurance was $3,600 per year with Farmers. The day I turned 25, they refunded $900 back. I have a $1,000 deductible.

Edit: I drive a 2004 C4S Tiptronic that I'm getting rid of. It is already demodded; but still have all the aftermarket stuff. Anybody interested, please PM me. Thanks.

Policy on a 2000 C2 for me is $1187. AAA is the carrier, and I have my home and another vehicle with them. I'm 32 with a clean record.

Deductible is $550 (the highest they have).

Hope that helps.

comparing rates is a waste of time unless you are the same age and live in the same zip code

I think it's mostly for bragging purposes.

how is it bragging? I can pay $500 a year for insurance on a porsche if I wanted to move to north dakota. but living in new york is much better for me, so i would have to pay more.

Isn't there another thread you can go suck the life out of? Perhaps one that I am not interested in?

I should have shopped around more...I have heard (and experienced) great things from USAA...

I will be posting the mods I have for sale in the F/S forum soon. All were installed by Lucent and all were de-installed by RUF-Dallas. Thanks.

24 in Austin, TX.
No tix / accidents. $146.00 / month w/ $500 deductible for a '00 C2 cabrio thru Travelers.

Unfortunately, i just submitted a $4000 comprehensive claim b/c someone ripped my rear window and whole top needs to be replaced. So i'm expecting that number to go up.
