Just like women, with enough $$, anything can look good

The Gruppe M intakes are truly a work of art. The one I got for my buddy's 360 was so nice looking, he actually considered putting them on the wall as a quasi art piece!

Anyone care to price out the carbon fiber airbox for the 997 that Champion sells? Wonder how much that sucker is

What price is that groupe M air box quoted? Is that 198,000 Yen? $1,627? Plus the bracket to relocate the air pump. I wish it cost less, but THAT is the caliber of part I want to see when I open my engine cover. Not that plastic piece of crap from EVOMS that has fallen appart in my engine bay.

Wouldn't it be nice if there were a middle ground, say around $1000?

1895 was quoted on the gruppemusa.com site. pretty but no way is it worth it.

$25.65 is the cost of the air pump bracket (3,000 Yen) as per the Japanese website.

Agreed. But it is worth a grand. It sure is makes you look like you love your car though. Someone should knock it off and sell them for realistic money. They would sell a ton of them.

That is beautiful! This is what I would expect to find under the hood. Too bad the EVOM doesn't look anything like this. It also looks like it fits much better as well. Anyone for a "gruppe buy" on this???

Count me in! I'd love to replace that EVOMS POS with somehing that looks and performs like it should be on a Porsche.

It is interesting how no one from EVOMS has chimed in to defend their product or to offer any of us with problems some resolution. One thing for sure, I would NEVER spend another dime with EVOMS. I don't care how good their airbox sounds or how good it works, that POS V-Flow fell apart within a year and NEVER fit right. So much for all their R&D. What's the point of packaging it in a Chinese POS?

-I am liking my K/N kit so far. It's pretty inexpensive ($280 shipped) but does seem to be pretty well made even tho it was a PITA to assemble the heat shield body.

I love the sound when you put your foot in it, but ya water concerned me as well. Would be ideal if someone made a CF coverlet for the top opening of the heatshield body.
