Check underneath the car where the **** cables attach to the outside of the transmission and see if there is an obstruction or something. Perhaps some corrosion of the shift cables. Other than than, not sure whatelse to look for.
If it doesn't bother you and you have no other symptoms I would leave it. If you start having trouble putting it in gear, or grinding, or poping out of gear, have it looked at.
