When you are driving through town or in the neighborhood does the ol p car turn some heads? I am not gonna lie..I get this grin on my face when I notice by standers taking a second look. Maybe I'm enjoying the car too much

Nope. No head turning here.
When I had T/As I got more comments on my car and the last turd I drove was one of those Pontiac Solstice cars. I got questioned at least twice a day while at lights to ask me about it.
The Targa gets nothing for attention. Bummer.

 

I do at times. Not a lot of p-cars in Metro Detroit area.

Hell ya I get looks. Probably cause' I got a boog hanging though.

 

I was at the gas station this weekend and an old gent (late 70s) said, what kind of car is that.

I said,, A VW Turbo


He said,, nice car sir.

I said thanks and said they sure build them better then they did in the 60s and he agreed.

Funny thing is if you dont see well and arent familiar there is no where on the Turbo where it says Porsche except in the back window but its not that obvious.

To many it still resembles the old VW.

I do get alot of looks,especially on the sly.These non turbo cars are all about show and not enough go,2nd slowest in my fleet

 

My RR does, its black with black out windows, 22"s, brush guard, etc.

The M3 turns heads cause its so damn loud with my B&B Triflo - it sounds like a small Cessna

 

even here in L.A. the land of cars, my silver C4S with black wheels gets lots of notice. the black wheels make a big difference, and even though porsches are a dime a dozen here, people do notice cars that lool as good as mine.

but my classic tbird makes even the lambo guys jealous
Other weekend sitting at a light in my tbird next to a bright yellow lambo... and the foot traffic barely noticed his car, while my old ford was getting thumbs up from everyone!

 

Always turning heads, sometimes the wrong heads though.

The wrong heads like to dispense tickets.

 

I rarely notice people looking at me......although I see every Pcar that passes....I had a friend drive behind me for about 20 minutes a while back and he claimed that I everyone was looking...but I don't know....and once...I was at PCH and Main st in Huntington Beach sitting in traffic and I looked over and there was a tourist on the corner taking a picture of me with his camera.....THAT made my afternoon...hahaha
