delayed introduction and HELLO + pics

Hello 6speedonliners,

even thoug i did some postings before, i missed the common behavior to introduce myself and saying hello. Today i received my new camera, so here we are ;-)

I´m german and live in austria.

The car is a 07/07 997TT black (just black) and natural brown.

I wanted a car as a daily driver without attracting attention, so it´s not that racecarstyle like some other cars around here.

I put wheel discs on 30mm front / 36mm back. I tried to give you an idea of the look on the photos.

BMC filter is installed, fabspeed gen3 is on its way

I ran about 9.500km and love it!! It´s unbelievably what this car can do on the autobahn, it´s incredible fun!!!!

I start with my most favourite pic, you can see i´m even faster than my 997

lights on

at daylight

wheel discs

i love that back!!!

just one interior shot. The only one with a good idea of the natural brown. On the other shots it looks like yellow-orange-something, so awful - can´t share it ;-)))

That car is hot!

My 996TT was black with natural brown! What a combo!

Wheel discs? You mean wheel spacers don't you? And I had 18mm spacers on the rear with my original GT3 wheels and I thought those were really THICK but 30/36mm is even thicker! Are you sure that they're 30/36mm thick? That'd be almost or even 2 inches thick!

Beautiful pictures, dude! What kind of camera/lens did you use?

Jason, he has 15mm on each wheel in the front and 18mm on each wheel in the rear. I remember from another thread that this combination was the only one approved by our good old almighty German traffic safety supervision authority.

Yes, i mean wheel spacers.

I think we are using the same on the back, they are 18mm each side - the description is per axle and not each spacer, ordinary notation on the continent

I made the pictures with just a Nikon Coolpix Digicam - that´s the reason why i couldn´t match the interior color, it has quite limited functions ;-)

Although i don´t like the stock wheels that much, i´m not a friend of third party parts - in germany it has a little bit of a "chavy" touch...

Perhaps the GT2/GT3RS wheels after the winter

Can´t wait to put my fabspeed exhaust on!

I´m really tempted to chip the car, but i have a really bad record when i blow away my Audi RS6 engine with an ABT Chip And *****y Porsche factory is not jocking around in terms of modifications, a new engine is 40K+ euros -> ~56.000$...

But i will change my mind when the first 4-door sedan will pass me on the autobahn

But to be honest, i can´t wait to get the GT2 with PDK (don´t know what it is in english - double clutch gearbox???), but perhaps we all are dead before Porsche will bring it to us........

@soultteacher: time to sleep

Welcome! Very hotride. It is time that I must do a travel in Kietzbühl in the near future.Say hello to some friends. Last time was last year. I love KB! Have you a SUV for the snow time or is the 4x4 in the Turbo good enough?
