Sat Radio, Bluetooth and IPod
Seen several posts here about IceLink for 997 Turbo. Interested in finding source as I am interested in purchasing. Would also appreciate any comments from those who have installed. Does CD still work and does Bluetooth work with any BT equiped phone. Looking for a system that is fully integrated with PCM. First time poster, so any help you folks can provide would be appreciated.
And yes Adam your father can figure out how to do this stuff

We are the primary distributor for the Dension Icelink product, and a board sponsor as well. Visit the Order page at BumperPlugs.com or email me for details.

Yes bumper plugs seems like a great forum sponsor, but what are the chances of you doing the NavTv stuff Eric? I just don't see what he wants to be completely integrated like he is expecting with using the Dension unit? Screw the 6 disc changer and the Dension, my experience is it wants to work when it wants to, and with an iPod how many times they going to listen to discs, especially when the PCM has a single CD slot. Then if they get the Sat radio... chances are they won't be doing much CD listen to begin with, and with the BT, well an even greater chance they will listen to anything but someone calling in the middle of a song... Just messing, you should look into picking it up though.

What? it acts like the factory installed it with text even. You couldn't even ask Porsche to come up with a better integration... Have you looked at a recent interface from NavTv? As much as i disagree, we all have our opinions and respect everyones for what they are, i guess that is why they make different cars and different color paint jobs, we all have our preferences

That's probably because you couldn't get yours to work. No idea why it didn't work with yours but I can tell you that when it does work, it performs flawlessly.

I have Dension right now, and it still glitches every so often. I'm not at all happy with the bluetooth module and will probably convert over to Nav-TV bluetooth TOOKI once the parts are available for sale. It's a way better bluetooth interface that uses the stock PCM Cell phone module.
Once I get it, I'll post my Dension for sale!

He's thinking of mine, and no the freakin thing still doesn't work. Tried every trick they had, dennison tech support is useless. Eric is a good guy and BP a great online shop, but I'll never buy another dennison product, bush league. Hey, they can't all be glowing reviews, Eric did try above and beyond for a vendor to get the thing working, kudos for that, but the stuff is just inferior. I've had no less than 5 guys pm me with similar horror stories.
If you're expecting any of these aftermarket things to work flawlessly/oem like, it will never happen. Buyer beware.
