Question When are the July builds usually delivered?

I'm moving back to Chicago in July and wanted to put an order in on a TT. Given July is the last build month for the '08s before factory hiatus, will this extend the production time or can I expect delivery by august as the dealer has mentioned? Also, as it's the last '08 build, would I have any more wiggle room with regards to negotiating off of MSRP?

Mine was built around July 11, boarded the ship at the end of July and was delivered mid Aug.

July build is August delivery. Usually a month after the build date.

I just traded a July 08 build date with a February build date (I really just lucked out). My dealer also said that the July build would get me the car by the end of August typically.

That's the other option, if the changes end up being significant for '09 I'll just wait.

They're not building an '09? I thought there was going to be a power bump, LED taillights and a couple other changes?
