I changed my order at the last minute to get the sports adaptive seats and I'm glad I did. they are great. The new buckets have the added advantage of the ability to use a harness, which might be a plus if you plan to track the car a fair bit. My track experience with the adaptives has been limited, but I felt very secure and snugly held in place. I am thinking about going with a harness-ready seat, however, for track season.

Unless you are planning on getting a harness, adaptives are probably the best choice. Will be watching to see if anyone has had seat time in the new buckets-would love to get their opinion.

Looks like the adaptive seats are the way to go.

Get the sports adaptives - they're quite nice, adjustments are plentiful, I'm glad I have them

Bucket seats

I have a turbo that's on the Boat with the Bucket seats. the last two Porsche's I have owned I had the Adaptives seats. I did not care for them. The adjustments were ok, But I am tall and don't need much height adjustment, and i could never get the lumbar right for my back.

I'll let you know in about tthree weeks.

For very long trips, best are those Adaptative. For track days, and short and intense trips, better Buckets...

Just for remember, with harness you can use Hans, that's quite important in case you might consider useful.

In my actual unit, 997TT, I seat over normal seats and, oh man, are so, so, so much grand-dad-car that my back often moves with rock'n roll rythm.
