Heat from a hair dryer, dental floss, 3-M adhesive remover, then polish - you may need to clay after adhesive remover, then polish

I've done it THREE times already so I know what I'm doing here!

First I changed from chrome to black, then black to painted and finally from painted back to chrome. Yeah, okay I'm a sick man!

Seriously aside, the tips from jhbrennan is good but this is how you'd want to do it. Use the hair blower a bit on each section for a short bit just to warm up the adhesive and then use the dental floss to carefully remove the badge starting from one end to the other. You'll definitely break a couple of strings but be patient, it'll eventually come off. You'll be left with adhesive residue on the paint. Use the 3M adhesive remover lightly and then carefully peel off the rest of the residue. Clean it up afterwards with some detailer spray and then use polish.

Fishing line works but hurts like HELL if you're not wearing rubber gloves! Dental floss doesn't hurt as much.

Plus...the fishing line doesn't break as easily while the floss does - using the floss made me take my time and not hurry.

The safest way is to order "Delete model designation"...if it's not too late.

Per fishing lines, I would use a monofilament line, stay away from braided lines and wire leaders. Some monofilaments are also abrasive and nick very easily, be careful. I would use the waxed dental floss myself.

I thought, that i´m a sick man, yesterday i was 6 hours (!) under my car to fix the alignment of my fabspeed exhaust/tips. My OPC did quite a bad job, but that´s OK, they only billed me 600€ (~ $880)....

Now i´m happy, my hands look like i had an ultimate fight and my lips are blue because one muffler has fallen on my face
