i compared my 6 speed when it was stock to a titptronic before and after i installed the tubi and the difference in power is lot for only a tubi exhaust! and i also pompared it to a 6 speed and it made a huge difference in lag and made my car faster and sounded alot better!

Most of these aftermarket exhausts with cats, but without benefit from chip provide 10-15HP according to the data I have seen. This is with Speedart and I think with AWE too, not sure about the 5-6 others. Tubi, hopefully too, should provide some small amount of added hp paralleling the small amount of reduced backpressure that should be present.

AWE did a dyno after the exhaust install and saw a 24hp increase.

Just the 100lb weight loss in itself (compared to stock) over the rear axle ought to account for increased performance . Can you quote the exact tests?

Tubi/Milltek

I was going to put tubi on my porsche but then i went and talked to evolution motorsports in arizona and they said go for milltek which gives you more hp/tq it also helps when i got the giac ecu and there header system. Even know tubi sounds better

The stock exhaust doesn't even weigh 100lbs. Weight loss should be anywhere from 15-30lbs.

miltek with its 100cel cats makes the most power, but we are talking a few HP here, not a major difference. Buy the exhaust that sounds great to you, all the usual suspects make power.

I think I gained 10-15 HP from the carbon fiber interior accents I added as well. Kind of how new shoes made me run faster when I was a kid.

I stand corrected and I don't recall if I was told that weight difference or read it thus I ought not have posted it without looking first . My error .
Even the 15 -30 lb figure over the rear axle has got to help.

When I bought my Tubi --I was advised to consider Milltek, AWE, straight pipes , and few others . It was very hard to decide .

I can't say whether the exhaust made a difference in my case because I did all of the engine parts and ECU in one installation. When I got my car back there was a tremendous difference but in my case the sum of the parts

i can confirm the tubi doesn't loose any power. The only time that was ever the case was years ago on their gen1 996tt system which has been replaced ages ago. The 997tt system is very light (although the stock exhaust is more like 54 pounds and not 100), sounds great and yes flows real well. It makes good power in combination with software everytime.
