Question Tt Tires

Has anyone tried the Continental tires for the 997TT Yet

220 Spec with AA rating

Have Bridgestones's now and was thinking of Michelin's or the Conti's

Cheers !

You'll buy continentals once and only once............then back to Michelins for life.

I have been pleasantly surprised with the Bridgestones. I would definitely get another set for street use, especially the way these things attract nails, there is a sig. price delta compared to Michelin PS2.

Like a few have said, I have felt that the the Continentals are a little mediocre. I really like the PS2s, and have been pleasantly surprised by the Bridgestone RE050A.

I'm on my second set of PS2 but plan to give the Pirelli Rossos a try for my next set. I've heard good things about those tires from those who've used them.

I think everyone agrees that the PS2's are the best tire for Pcars. however, I have had good experiences with the conti's on Audi's. I had the Conti2's on my A4 and got really good wear (22-23K/mi a set), and the directional stability was really good, and they were very quiet, all they wat to the wear bars. I liked them enough that I replaced them I didn't change. I have the Conti 3's on my TT Coupe and so far have no complaints. anyone who knows me knows that the tires on my cars have a hard life.

I just went from PS2's to the Pirelli PZero Rosso's on my TT. They are great. IMO, a little better steering feel and quieter than the PS2's. Had Conti's on an Audi S6, hated them. Had Bridgestones on a 997S, didn't like them too much either. I think you can't go wrong with either the PS2's or the Pirelli's.
