Look what I found in my RH Rear Tire....

A small CO2 Cylinder...

Less than 3k miles on it...

oh wow that is nuts do you have tire road hazard warranty?

 

Just get a new pr of rears.

 

whoa, never seen that before...

 

I see the CO2 cylinder imbededed...what is going on down and to the left one inch???

 

Clarification...talking down and to the left 1 inch in first picture...

 

I was making a left turn at a stop light , sensor went off in a few seconds and I stopped after that.....

Put it on a flat bed home....


Note: Always have a small phillips to remove your front lip before you put it on a flatbed for towing...


I removed the two Tork and use phillips scres for the two sides on the Lip

If I didnt have any Bad luck , I wouldnt have any at All !

 

That's the damage the cylinder made. GEE-BEE had already pried it out of the tire and set it down on the tire for the picture. If you look in the other two pictures you can see the cylinder is still embedded, and the anomaly you point out is not there.

 

Wow. That is a first...

 

I have pulled some weird stuff out of tires over the years... needle nose pliers (embedded itself in the wheel) , part of a hack saw blade frame, a bullet (also went into the wheel), nails and screws head first, keys, an allen wrench, a big hunk of rebar (also through the wheel), etc...

 

I FEEL you ,im the king of getting flats with new tires. But im lucky!!! they always hit the sidewall, which forces me to get new tires.
