Fifth Gear 997tt Vs GT-R

I believe it is an amazing car, but if you notice, they only do one lap, he said it used too much fuel, and I have heard that tire wear is terrible due to it's portly weight. In a true track event, it would have a hard time winning. I believe it had a poor showing in the One Lap of America with a professional driver. The modded cayman from Farnbacher smoked it with 50 less hp and 125 fp tq less, until it hit a deer. Porsches do not do well with deer. I believe whoever buys a GTR is getting much more car than he paid for,the dyno's constantly show over 520 hp, compared to a Turbo at a true 480, also it is proven a dual clutch is 3 to 4 tenths of a second faster than a manual, the PDK proves this. The GTR will make Porsche better, we all benefit from competetion, but the final word is emotion and the enjoyment of driving a Porsche, nothing is like it, nothing.
That would be true if that GT-R were stock, but it is not. The owner on the GTR forums stated his car (the one tested) has aftermarket exhaust as admitted here but let's not let the facts get in the way of some old fashioned GTR sack riding
