Has anyone raced a 08 GTS Viper? I'm talking stock for stock and both drivers are equal!

Stock for stock, I think the new GTS would roll out a bit on the Porsche, but I could be wrong.
I'm curious myself about the potential results.

 

Ran a new non GTS Viper but Im not stock, I pulled clearly after both of us soft launched it and the Viper had traction issues.

Id venture a guess it would beat a stock TT from a roll provided it could put the power down.

What is an 08 GTS? 08's are SRT 10's Generation III (or IV depending on how you look at it) the GTS is the Generation II.

The 08 Viper should roll out pretty good on a stock 997 Turbo.

Oh and that thread title, my goodness.

 

He probably meant Coupe, which looks quite like a GTS.

Ding...sorry guys, I've had a couple vipers. My first was a 1300hp TT 01 GTS. That's why I called the 08 a GTS.

 

Tell you what though, with traction off, and in this (relatively) cold weather in SoCal, my turbo has traction issues in the morning with 500 to the wheels.
