Our club event on 24th DEC.2 people in my car and 1 driver only in E55.E55 driver claiming his car is bone stock but we doubt that.He beated a 560hp modified M6 before we race.Had only pulled til 200kph(120mph) due the big gap difference between 2 cars

My car fitted with EVT700 setup(turbo ungrade done by protomotive,others from EVO) plus IPD and fabspeed intake.103 octane fuel.
Clutch&flywheel still stock!

 

I used to own an E55 with some mods, definetly a fast car.

 

Your tt is quick! Have you run a stroked m5 or m6? it might have been a closer race.

That M5 might has around 630hp with 5.7l?On that day we only have an E55,EVOSPORT M6,DB9 and a R8 plus 400hp E46 M3.The E55 is fastest one out of these cars so I only raced with E55(due clutch still stock,easier to slip if too much race).

I think the M5/M6 doing better after 120mph,but the track we racing is limited at 1.2km long so we have to brake after speed reached about 120-130mph...

Well just wanted to say evt mods are great.If one day any of you have a chance to race an E55 with standard 997 turbo you will see.E55 is not a slow car,different production years come with different power output,some of them can do 11.9-12 sec 0-400m bone stock.If you have look these records here :

I think you should do a re-race. Give the E55 a jump then try reeling him in.

 

hehe ye maybe,he was giving me half body front because 2 people in my car in that race..Looks like it too fair for me now..

I would guess he had some heat soak and the SC was shut down..........

 

i lease an e63 and own an 09 997tt. the turbo is definitely quicker than the 63, but that amg is one fast car-i would say as fast as the c6 vette i had. it is a great sedan.
