Adaptive Sport Seats w harnesses

Anyone know if I can use harnesses with oem adaptive sport seats? No roll bar so would be using other mounting points. Any thoughts?

harnesses can be detrimental to your survival in a crash without a proper racing seat...

Good feedback - thanks. Thought I had heard that that was the case.

no track tech should pass it...you could only pass a self tech and now you know better than to do that...you would be safer on track with the stock belts and seat as they are designed to work together..

This works.

When I was using my stock seats I would get the seat belt to lock while my seat was reclined all the way, then put it into the driving position. Essentially the seat belt stays locked and holds you in place. It should be tight enough to be uncomfortable. You'll notice the difference right away.

You cant use a 4 point belt with stock seats without holes in the seat, because of the propensity for it to slide off your shoulders during an accident.

won't pass tech as guys said above. also avoid installing harnesses without a roll bar cause u don't wanna be strapped in without a bar above your head to protect you in case the car flips over. i don't think u can put an anti-submarine belt thru a sport seat either, which is VERY important to have.
