Where can I buy these guys? Looking to replace all the interior, and liscense plate lights, also under the trunk.
Thanks

For cabin LEDs you can use any brand, ebay, whatever. Make sure you dont go too cheap, you dont want them staying on when the car is off.

Im not sure what the part # is but you want an LED with this little part on it that wont allow it to work with trace amounts of power in the system.

Spend $ on good ones for the exterior, cheap ones will trigger warning lights.

For trunk lighting and engine there are these guys
http://www.hoen-usa.com/exp.htm

These match Porsche illuminated sills, if you dont care about matching that you can save $$ and get cheaper LEDs but the color will be less white and more blue white.

Are the interior LEDs (rear view mirror, driver's door panel and driver's door sill) supposed to stay on all of the time? My battery runs down after 5 days or so. I have a 2003 996 TT. :-(

Just one question: any reason you want more lighting on the rear plate?

I had a set on my M5 (before they starting throwing faults). Not sure they necessarily make the plate 'more' visible. But the LED light is definitely more visually appealing than the dull yellowish incandescent crap.

Back from the dead. Does this mean the interior light won't trigger a warning light without a resistor?

EDIT: also, any other suppliers for license plate lights? HOEN has been "out of stock" for ages.

contact Hoen direct for license plate complete modules, they are typically sold before they hit the web but timeframe is a few weeks and typically they dont post the link online, only e-mail direct. I run a set, they are fantastic but indeed quite bright so skip them if your trying to be stealth. Net result is a vast 'modernization' of the car though, I get compliments on them all the time.

Hoen dont recommend interior bulbs, asked but they say the say coldness in side the car is tough on the eyes and to skip it. For those who still want to stick in whiter ones 6411 is the dome and W5W is the courtesty light.
