you can kill some time finding a dealer that is mod friendly (hopefully the one you are getting the car from)...make sure any planned upgrades will have no affect on your warranty

Except for the wheels, which brings in a little more $$ if swapped new, I would recommend driving your car a few months first to familiarize yourself with the baseline. This way, when you mod something, the difference will become more obvious and better appreciated.

Modding the slow way is way more meaningful and fun. Just my 2 cents.

+1. You'll appreciate your mods even more as you go one step at a time.

As for killing time, just reading up on Cannga's comprehensive reviews about exhaust/suspension/etc. will keep you busy till the cows come home.

Ha ha ha, Neil, I had a good, good, laugh reading your comment. I do admit some of the posts border on "interminable ranting/rambling"!

I'd drive it as-is for a bit to establish a baseline, but no sense in delaying too long the mods you want. The sooner you have your car in its desired final state, the more time you'll have behind the wheel enjoying it. As far as order of mods go, I'd go wheels, exhaust and ECU.

One step at a time.... I went crazy and did most of the mods in a short period of time. I had wheels, exhaust, plenum, ssk, and springs all waiting at RSS before my car even arrived. My car went from the dealer, straight to RSS. Within a few months of that, the rest of the mods got done. Now, I am bored...... Either I need to do something drastic to the car or it's time for a new one... Don't let this happen to you. Each mod brings new joys and keeps things interesting. Try to make that span over a long period of time. It's more fun that way..

OK, OK I get it, slow and easy...I think I've heard that somewhere before
Actually just aquiring a few trinkets for now and plan to do the heavy hitters after the break-in. Plenty of good advice here to keep me busy for awhile.
Thanks for everyones encouragement and support.

Start ordering parts now, if you are impatient the parts will take even longer. Always the hassle in aftermarket stuff. Well worth doing though
