4th 1,7-1,8

I haven't had the chance do check 5th but I think it could be around 2
Is the 1.7-1.8 boost sustained or transient?

Sorry Dave, I don't understand the question. I can get you a video soon

The gauge showed 1,2b on 1st gear and every gear change it was climbing by 0,2-0,3b.

I checked my BMC and it really looks very dirty, do you think this would affect the performance noticeably ?

If you restrict the amount of air interring to the turbo's differently it will effect the power. The more air in the more fuel you can burn >>> more power

Sorry Antonis. I mean does the boost stay at 1.7 bar or does it just spike to 1.7 bar and settle back down to 1.5 bar? Interesting finding. Thanks.

Yes I think, turbos engines love clean airfilters!
Even if the 997TT air filter has a great surface.

A little story:

In 1997 I had got a tuned 944Turbo (951X) which produced 290chp/400Nm.
When my (stock size) KN airfilter was clean I was hiting the revlimit in 5th (last gear, 295kph at the dashboard), when it was not, It was hard to touch 290 and impossible to hit the revlimit...
From this car I always have got 2 airfilters (BMC or KN): 1 in the car and 1 clean ready to exchange in the garage, I switch every 4/6 monthes and clean the one I bolt off.

Anyone with a non-Sports Crono and a flash know if after an aftermarket flash, can the Tuning companies enable these functions?

If you want to enable all the functions Sport Chrono controls, I think you have to go to your dealer and install the SC kit. An aftermarket flash can give you "SportChrono" engine performance equal to a flashed SC option car.

I just swapped to the GT2 Slave cylinder. Normal driving in Sport mode is so much easier. Before it was so jerky.

Good to hear. I'm switching over as well. This sounds like one of those "must do" mods.

No worries. That's great that your boost holds. Do you think we are all probably overboosting with these modded vtgs?

I have no idea, I was also very surprised to see that boost. Duraetrs only shows upto 2550 which I think is 1,5b I noticed the overboost after installing a boost based gauge. I was wondering if this s safe for the engine

At least with the vtgs you have all the safety features in place whereas with an EBC, you disable some. Where did you install the pressure gauge? Any pics?

Before installing the aquamist I used to run the AEM w/m which was boost based. I pulled the tube into the glove box, and connected it to a gauge.
This is not something that I'm keeping on the car. I had the tube sitting there so I Decided to check the boost in different gears. I'll get some pics
