I agree, living in this climate washing car is just sometimes total waste of time if you want to really drive it. It takes two hours to wash it up and 2 minutes to put it right back.

o yes, and I signed up for the Porsche Ice Force driving school in Lapland on 26th of Jan. I heard they are bringing some 2010 Turbos over too.

Do they put salt on the roads in Finland or is everyone just used to driving on snow and ice?

Well, it depends on the temperature. If temperature is above -4 Celsius (25F) then roads will be salted, but if it is colder salt will do no good. Personally I think salting roads is waste of money and environmentally irresponsible. If you live in Finland and you can't drive on snow or ice, you should use the public transportation. Salt will just make roads all slushy and ruin your good wash
