Your Thoughts

Hey all. I am thinking about adding some matt black accents to my 07 carrara white 997TT. The car has painted (white) sides skirts and front and back spoiler.

I plan on all matt black wheels, matt black side mirror housings and here's the question.... I'm not a fan of big wings and really like the look and functionality of the stock wing. What do you all think of just painting the upper part of the wing matt black (under and over). To much?

I'm considering matt black exhaust tips as well.

Thanx in advance for your thoughts and suggestions.

I've never been a fan of half painted spoilers to be honest. If it was me a rather go all matte black or leave it alone.

I would paint the badge black, wheels black, windows black, tips black, forget everything else. However if you have carbon inside, I would suggest the carbon mirrors, those are cool, suncoast has em

Im about to paint my bottoms all silver to match, then the wheels satin black, tips in black, tail lights black/clear, badge front and back black, and voala

I think matte black wheels and exhaust tips would look sharp. I would stay away from painting the the side view mirrors and partial spoiler matte black. Both of these parts are available in carbon, so I'd head in that direction for accents over matte black

+1

I have white turbo and had similar ideas. Forget all the black wing and mirrors. You should look into TechArt aerokit. Looks sharp on a turbo with matte black wheels. Tips will get black anyway so no use of getting them painted plus painting will not work as they get so hot. Just ceramic tips are dark enough anyway.

I ordered the wing and sides yesterday.

here is the wing:

Thanx guys, still pondering what to do. I had the opportunity to have the mirror housings painted at the same time as the wheels so they will match perfectly. I figure if I dont like em one of u guys might

emturbo has a spectacular aura aboutemturbo has a spectacular aura about
i went with 5% tints, got the black emblem, and powder coated stock tips black with my cargraphic exhaust.

I think if it were a fixed spoiler it would nice like on the 996.

Good luck.
