DFI 997 Turbo w/PDK versus 997 GT2

I ran my friends brand new 997TT w/ PDK and the chrono overboost.
I was trying to be nice, run him on pump gas where I only make around 590 or so whp (my car makes around 740 or so, more if I really turn up the boost on C 16).
I gave him a 2 car jump thinking I could easily reel him back in and I could only close one length. We went w/ out me giving him the jump and I was barely pulling a length on him. Mind you I have evry bolt on possible and Gt 30 turbos. Yes I would crush him on race gas but the 2010 TT w/ PDK and overboost is the fastest stock car I have ever ran, even faster than a Z 06 I think.

My suspicion is that the PDK cars also don't lose as much boost with shifting as opposed to the much bigger/longer throttle lift with the manual tranny GT2.
A local PDK turbo with a moderately skilled driver, stock suspension, 100 lb lighter than stock, and Hoosiers ran 4 seconds a lap quicker (1:24) than I ever did in my GIAC stage 4 996tt (at Hallet circuit). The car not only accellerates in a straight line, it really hooks up and puts the power down on corner exit. It was really an impressive display. I can't wait for July to find out for myself!

That's my PDK and I just have to say that the power and acceleration from the PDK is simply phenomenal. It's miles faster than the 997.1 (which I used to have) and I wonder what kind of stuff and technology Porsche added to get this improvement.
On the runs I started on 2nd gear (Sport Plus mode) and once I stepped on the gas the car immediately jumped ahead. I was really surprised that I was ahead of the GT2 most of the time.... (we ran from 100km/h to about 250?)

im asking because i saw both videos vs GTR HKS , and the second when you race the GT2, in both videos you race Z06, but in 2nd video it looks like you lost a race....

). On the first run, we had a rolling start at around 60mph / 100kmh. The PDK won because the Z06 had some wheel-spin at the launch. So after the run against the GT2, we decided on trying the race with a higher launch speed (roughly 80 mph / 130kmh) at the end of the race at around 250kmh, the Z06 was ahead by about 1/2 a car or so.
