Bakersfield! I have some farm land there. We grow grapes on two 50 acre farms. In 2001 we started buying raw land and selling to builders along Hwy 99, Hwy 58 and the Rio Bravo area. Then it all ended in 2006. Still waiting for round two. I live south of you in Orange County.

something about tribute to the old porsche racers who could shave some time by turning on ignition with left hand and shifting into gear with the right hand...

I would suppose if the gearing was on the left why it would make sense to have such vehicle equipped with ignition on the right.
