Jason, I haven't been around the boards lately but its great having such an informative member like yourself explain step by step (with photos) what I thought was an almost impossible task to accomplish.Your photos and clear steps allow those who want to do the conversion possible. i still have my 07 TT and plan to keep it. i have always wanted to do the LED taillights but thought it was way too involved both in cost and finding qualified people to do it. I thought about the latest conversion plug and play LED tailight kit floating around but it has issues that I am still concerned about. Quality being one of them. I do like the newer OEM taillights shape much better. Good to be back on the board my friend. Still remember the great times I had with you (and Larry) in the Marin headlands when we first bought our cars. We took some great photos.

I just installed mine and without the need to use any LED modules. My electrican managed to just add some resistors to the LED tailights and it worked perfectly for few weeks now with no Engine check light etc.

My Techart Aerokit II just arrived and will be installing the new bumper next week.

I want to do the same thing for my 997.1 Turbo as well but I don't know if I can find a good place like your's.
I have a question about your GT wheels: can you help me where to get these wheels? I want to buy them neither from the dealer because it's gonna cost too much, nor from ebay because it's too hard to find and sometimes not trustworthy...

shumy,

Well, you could order those wheels from suncoast porsche which actually offers good prices on Porsche parts or you could keep an eye out for anyone selling their GT3RS wheels. Either way would work. Good luck!
