PDK owners... Is PDK the only way to go now??
Yes it was palomar mtn. Not sure about s6 or s7. It was my first time for that drive. We will probably go again soon if you are interested.
my parents live right over in olivenhein by la costa canyon high(where i went) will u be around sunday. i want to see the pdk shine . i drove a tt one 4 laps around willow 3 months ago and i rather have my stick on a track anyday. and not just because its more fun.
Let's compare just the 1/4 mile times of a 6spd vs PDK.
Then we can revisit the amazing laptimes of the PDK (I only know of a few, because they aren't that common for me to find).
Hell, the 6spd times don't keep up with the GT-R, yet the PDK can pretty much blow it out of the water (don't tell the NAGTROC guys I said that). The only difference is, I haven't seen a lot of PDK's being reviewed on track.
This is a good point. I got the original invoice and it stickered for $143K. That is only a 10% discount on a 8 mos old car. I think I could do a new one for that...
I don't think you can find many "new" 2010's at this point. 10% off on a new/super low miles 2010 isn't far off. However, if you are considering new I would go 2011 and order exactly what you want and have 12 months less depreciation.
With respect to PDK, when I drove one (it was a C2S, my dealer didn't have a TT in stock) I had a little trouble using the buttons on the steering wheel trying to shift in corners. I am guessing once you get used to it this isn't a problem. The automatic downshifting felt slightly sluggish for certain large changes (e.g. 7th to 3rd). Anyway, I ordered the 6M because I just like the driving experience better. If my main objective was pure speed I would go PDK but I won't be tracking mine much, if any. Also, if many of the posters are correct and 90% will be PDK there may be some scarcity value of a 6M down the road.

Ahahaha! So did I. My wife is looking at me wondering why I'm cracking up. Rep to you Bogg!

No-one else mentioned it so I sat and stared at the post for a while wondering if I was imagining the error, because it was just too good. Simple things amuse my simple mind I guess.
