It will be good to see you and your car there. I think that it will be well north of 220 MPH. I dont think I will be driving this round but Joe G and others who have gone high speed will be there and would drive your beast. Lets figure it out so we can get the transport details worked out sooner than later.

 

With 1100 awhp i was thinking 230mph plus not 220mph

Todd, your telling me how this car sits it will run 240+ making the power it does?? Call me crazy but that will never happen I have a boat load of experience when it comes to making power on the drag strip and running numbers which I am sure you know. I have only done one mile event and ran 200+ and went 1/4 mile traps just as high as this car in my basic setup 996 . I wasn't knocking the car at all just asking what do you plan to change to make the power to go 250+. I have put some thought into making my 996 a mile car but for now I think its worth more on the drag strip and the road race course.

If it ran 231 with 920whp you dont think 200+hp more will yield 9mph?? I think there is a miscommunication here maybe.. In 1 sentence your quoted 240+ and the next 250+.. I think the car can run 240+ all day long with only 150 more HP let alone nearly 300hp todd says he has and more TQ as well.. Not to mention you can see it will be lighter w/ more aero mods too..

Matter of fact I would bet with 1000hp only 80 more hp, the " Right " aero mods, The right weather and wind, and lighter, the car could touch 240mph.. Just my opinion as i have seen a fender change on an all motor busa gain 3mph alone..
