honestly if your running the $100 garax I dont think you will see a difference worth investing another $90 on as they are very very close.

For the first time investment however I feel we have a whiter bulb, a more competitive price and 3 times longer warranty.

 

You say to get the DS2 bulbs but all the charts say to get the DS1 bulbs ????

 

You could look in your owner's manual - it shows D2S.

Side markers and LED assembly bulb replacement seems easy. However does anyone have DIY diagrams/instructions on how to replace the bulb in the main front headlight assembly? How to pull it out?
...before I start fiddling around in there.

Well it's been 2.5 years - bulbs have worked great, but now am getting a dipping error on one of my front bulbs. I guess it needs to be replaced.

Can't find the originals on Hoen's site. Does any one know if they still sell them?

Hoen is still around - just ordered from them in the last couple of weeks. But they don't have any D2S bulbs. Are you sure a bad bulb is causing a dipping error? Not sure why it would.

 

Not 100% sure, but seems to be the cause with other folks who have had the same error.

I guess I have to go with Philips Ultinon in that case.

 

Make sure you get the real Philips - I've bought from this guy...and he's in BC.
