Okay, the light does have a slight Violet hue to it. I honestly never noticed it until you pointed it out.

 

i did a whole write up on rennlist. after talking to a bunch of friends who replaced theirs in their lexus i went with garax. $99 for a set and the light is so much better. if you go on rennlist you'll see i did a side by side comparison and the garax brand is simply as white as you can get. then the reviews for garax is nothing short of amazing. i've never heard of a single set having to be replaced.

Is the Garax 6000k color similar to the Philips Ultinon - very slight violet tinge??

 

The original poster has pics for the garax bulbs both 6k versions on this thread. The cheaper one had the violet. I got mine off eBay with the seller with highest satisfaction to make sure I didn't get a fake pair.
