EVOMS 775 997.1 TT build
Hehe good to meet you too and nice car... Looks really mean set up that way.... So far over 600awhp and 640tq (especially nice!) and we'll be back in the AM for more... I figured you and the guys might be interested in seeing some of the file creation and Todd physically tuning. I got some footage when not data logging and I'll get the footage to Parvin

Really good to meet you and it was neat to see your car hit 640s in terms of awhp right from the get today... Good gas and it's good to go! Todd has a nose for bad gas I guess (that came out wrong) but I remember him looking at me really funny as I was sitting in the passenger seat with the laptop as he was pouring the gas last night. He looked at me all weird and said "that smells really bad". I thought he was talking about something else

Hope you make it SD without shaking a few teeth loose in that GT3
But unless Todd did another pull I didn't see, I didn't get quite that high with awhp. Pics and more info to follow.
Ian, if you see this, please post up the dyno of the 'best' run.
Today was the final day of tuning. Erratic power output and pulled timing yesterday. Something wrong with the car or the fuel. As Sharky alluded to ^^, Todd smelled something amiss with the 100 octane they put in yesterday. To take the fuel out of the troubleshooting equation, plan was to drain the tank and fill with MS109.
Car strapped on the dyno.

PIWIS hooked up to activate the fuel pumps to drain the tank

Emulator hooked up and ready for tuning

John and Ian filling the tank with pure, newly opened VP MS109

Two of the pulls

Best run (sorry, no vid):

After figuring out yesterday's results were from bad fuel, Todd mixed some pump 91 and re-dyno'd. Didn't catch those but was told the power was essentially the same.
Comparing this to the baseline dyno I originally posted, gains were approximately 220 awhp and 210 ft-lbs of tq
I'll (or Ian) will post some dyno plots when they're available.
Due to a bit of a late start, still needed to finish programming, reinstall the rear bumper, and install the dual switch in the cabin = car not ready until tomorrow.
I still haven't driven this thing, but needless to say, I'm excited!
Will post impressions after I get to drive it tomorrow night

Thanks everyone. This is gonna be a trip. Gonna be relatively easy driving for a while until I break in and get used to the Stage III clutch/GT2 slave. Now I just have to get thru the workday...as soon as possible!
Ordinarily, it would be you and your 'brethren' that would keep me late
, but it's an office day today. Get 'em in, get 'em out!

Gratz Bonehead, looks like they got a bit more HP and Torque outa yours. Remember to put plastic on the seat before your first romp
