After all the great reviews I've read about the Europipe exhausts on the site, I've been seriously contemplating getting the EP1. I plan to use my Fabspeed tips but Stef told me that I should expect a "farting noise" when decelerating from 1500rpm to idle. Has anyone experienced this? To eliminate the noise, Stef's recommendation were the stock tips (I don't really like the look) and the Techart tips. I was just wondering if the sound of EP1 and Fabspeed tips were that bad. Thoughts?

 

Actually, I have the EP1 and am using the dual outlet black fabspeed tips.

I don't hear any farting noises at all. No drone. Nothing.

I would not worry about it as I have this setup and no issues.

are ovals an option - I like the stock tips since they are different from most.

 

Yes the stock oval tips fit the EP1 with no issue.
I will be doing the same hopefully, EP1 with dual tips... and if it farts, then I will have to either stop eating junk or change the tips to oval again.

 

At least with the EP1, they'll be quiet farts.

My EP1 is ready to ship and will hopefully install just prior to Thanksgiving. I will let you know what it sounds like as I have also purchased a set of Fabspeed tips.

 

Farting or no farting, the EP will still sound better....imho.
