my cousin ahmed in his gt2 protomotive raced a C5 corvette supercharged about 740hp and some people told me today its 780hp, but defiantly over 700hp.

the GT2 has A3076 from protomotive boosting 1.3bar useing 93 octane only ,, the vette is c5zo6 5.7 has strocker engine with F1R supercharge useing methanol ..etc !!!

they were rolling 140km and the distanace was 700m only !!

Guys keep in mind the following key points, I don't think you all realize how incredible this run was!

1. The generation 5 (C5) Corvettes weighed only 1,472 kg (3,283 lb) making them on par with the GT2 of today.
2. That GT2 is running a STREET setup whereas that C5 was race prepped like it was going to race at a drag strip. 1.3bar GT2 vs. lightweight 780whp monster running a full race setup.
3. That run was only run to 700meters (100m shy of a 1/2 mile) as that Vette knew that any higher it would be in the GT2s territory and the win would have been much more dramatic.

The corvette did not take into account how VISCOUSTodd's protomotive setup is nor did he believe this car was running at 1.3 bar until he saw the boost controller for himself. Even then I think he couldn't even fathom what just happened to him at such low boost.

This is incredible win for Ahmed.....Congratulations to him on an amazing machine....

Now Kuwait must watch out for MK-ALSABAH's car next. He has a few tricks up his sleeve

Dunno... I can get a C5 'Vette for about $12k (USD)...

That GT2 is phenomenal, though - not taking anything away from it. That is some seriously insane performance.
