My New 07 Turbo and some thoughts

1) I love this car -

2) Im a big boy 6 2" - 290 lbs - thought I wouldnt fit in the adaptive sport seats but they fit like a glove!

2) Drove 200 miles in a day and a half (which I would NEVER do in my 430)
Very comfortable running errands - didnt mind it at all - no cramped legs, back pain or general aggitation I get from the 430 or when I had my murci or Gallardo

3) This thing is a bullet (has AWE exhaust-Intercoolers-Giac Flash) - to hell with the people that complain about the exhaust note, my 430 screams but enough is enough when you hear it 20x a day - plus I missed my 6 speed

4) Did I mention I love this car?

5) Truly a Supercar for the masses - I believe that I have finally come home - all the ooohs and aahhs of my current and past exotics are nice but if you dont enjoy driving the car whats the point? I would DREAD getting into the Murci and going for a ride - Who needs to pay $300k for that feeling? maybe the new one wil be different - thought about a 458 for a bit but im tired of taking the 80-90k hits on these cars

6) Exciting! when that boost comes on it feels like an F18! - makes me really want to take it on a long ride- Love having regualr Navigation again

That about sums up my rambling sorry, but my gf is tired of hearing me rave about it - what a great car!

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Seems like you had and still have some great cars. The entire package you get with the 997 turbo is tough to beat for the $$$.

I know the feeling.

The F-Car does not pull as hard as modded P-car.

Glad the adaptive sport seats fit you well, I felt cramped/pinched and went with the comfort seats.

Next upgrade your turbos to modded VTG's and the rush is even better, you will need to upgrade your clutch.

Turbos are next as I will be keeping this car for a while - some cars you just dont want to sell! (until the next variation comes out!)

Funny, I went the other way. Going from a 997TT to a 430 Scuderia. I've also had some seat time behind a 430 coupe and the differences between the Scuderia and 430 are is as vast as the sea is wide. But still, I love my 997TT. I couldn't imagine getting rid of it for one of the reasons you mentioned. The immense torque is just unequaled even compared to the Scuderia. It does feel much easier to drive on a daily basis. I wouldn't hesitate to jump into the 997TT and go on a long road trip. I have that hesitation to do that with the Scuderia because it's just not as comfortable. Thanks for sharing your experiences and congrats on your newest toy!

Glad to hear your impressions. I haven't had the opportunity to ride/drive in a F430 or any Lambo for that matter so I can't compare. All I know is that I LOVE driving my lightly modded '07 TT. The rush is insane at WOT. I just wish I lived in a more rural area so I could press the 'go' pedal more often w/o too much fear of jail. Track season is still so far away
