Almost Perfect TT But...
Only you will know if it's acceptable. Can you go see/smell the car in person?
My 3 1/2 year old car with 45,000 miles on it still has that new car smell - the leather still smell likes new. I'd cry if I got in and smelled cigarettes.

There are a few tricks that can help eliminate odors in the car.
Although most the odor is probably soaked into the leather and fabric, you may want to ask or search on the detailing forum here - there are a few tricks to getting rid of (or significantly reducing) the odor.

My 996 (which I bought used) had a slight smell of cigarettes in it - which went completely away when I changed the cabin air filter.
I spilled gasoline in an F150 I had - cleaned it up, shampooed the carpet and then spread aquarium charcoal on the carpet (when it was completely dry). That eliminated the gas smell.

If the car has been cleaned by the dealer and still smells...it will always smell...Even if is gets to the acceptable level, if you leave it in the hot sun for a few hours, you'll still get a smokey hint, in my opinion. I used to smoke (quit 6 years ago), and smoked in all my cars, but you have to do it right. It boggles my mind when I see people smoke in their cars with the windows up! Smokey little box...
