Front splitter suggestions?
Front splitter suggestions?
All - want to improve the curb appeal of my 997.2 TT cab - discreetly. Going to do 15mm spacers rear, 7mm up front with my Sport Classic (Fuch) wheels. Have clear side markers already, lightly tinted the windows - now thinking of a front splitter that would be a little more agressive than the OEM one yet don't want to replace the bumber cover. Any suggestions for that (pictures?) - or any other discreet enhancement for that matter...?
I personally like the factory turbo aerokit spoiler lip, painted to match. Combine with the GT2 side skirts (lower trim sill kit), also painted to match - and you have yourself a great looking, yet subtle, combo with factory fitment.
All I would say is before getting a nice (expensive) splitter, be sure you aren't going to do the suspension or lower it. I did my suspension, which lowered the car, and I'm glad I have the $150 stock splitter b/c it scraps with regularity.
Thanks mllarson & xseal. Ml...can't find that part listing or photo anywhere...and x seal - yes planning to keep it stock height. Like the look of 20" wheels and lowerred but here on Canadian roads....no way.
Please keep ideas coming or send a photos please. Would like a winter treat for my car.

Suncoast sells the aero kit front lip "Replacement spoiler lip for the Aerokit package, fits all 2006-2011 Turbo models. This version is more aggressive than the stock version, and can be painted to match your car."
The aero kit part number is 997-044-802-06

I have always liked the TechArt Type 1 front lip:

aero kit front lip
I went with the aero kit front lip about $600.00 from Suncoast & GT2 side skirts also about $600.00,as much as i loved the TA lip i new i would destroy it.The aero can take a major beating i've hit many a parking block & it just bends right back as it's made of the same material as the stock lip but only comes primed ready for paint.Had mine about a year with clear bra still looking good.
