Turbo S or GT2
From standstill and low rolling speed the 997 turbo S will win...littel higher gearing the GT2 will win

No question the PDK is faster in a straight line, perfect shifts, no loss of boost.
On the track, I'd bet that for 95%/more of drivers, the PDF and AWD would make the turbo faster. Even if the GT2 has more potential, I'd think it'd be harder to access for most drivers. Much as I prefer a 6 spd, when I drove the PDK at the school it was so much easier to drive on the track.

I think it depends on what you are looking for. For a track or occasional weekend car I would go for the gt2. For a daily driver or a car with more versatility (trips, kids in back, etc), I would pick the 997.2 TT.
I have a friend who is a pro driver who has driven the 997 TT S on the track and said it is very fast compared to many other exotics he tracked the same day.
I have driven the 997.2 TT S and IMHO paddle shifting in sport plus doing 0-100 in 6.3 sec is far from numb
