PCCBs
Sorry. Another PCCB question. Believe me, I've done a search already.
I have a 997.2TT spec-ed with steel brakes. Reason being that I've read that PCCBs are not durable and not usable when cold. As a result, they are not suitable for road use. Recently, I have heard that the 2nd generation PCCBs (current PCCBs) have corrected these problems and are very usable on the road, so I get better stopping power and lighter brakes and rotors. Is this true?
Is it worth my while to upgrade to PCCBs for road only use as a result?
Thanks!

Positive! You should upgrade to PCCB. I got PCCB on my TT and love it.
And it's more the other way around. Steel on track and PCCB on road otherwise it would get quite expensive I would think.

I have CCB's on all my cars and I love them! It would be best to sell the car and purchase one with them fitted already, seeing as a retro-fit is hugely expensive and simply not worth it! You could get something far better for the money.
Best regards,
