just got a letter from PSDS announcing a new 2 day course that features a GT3 cup car with sequential gear box. Also used is a turbo and GT3

completion of the masters plus program is required. Cost of the course is $10,000.

I jus left Porsche Driving School yesterday (Beginning- 2 day Precision Course).

What an amazing experience. Well organized, great drivers, and very personalized. I'll be at 'Masters' next year. You've not really driven a Porsche or know its limits until You've experienced this!

THe hotel was nice, the food was excellent and the ride to the track short (25 min). A perfect experience.

 

the ride to the track only takes ten minutes if you take the turbo, like I always do
bummer, I may not be able to get off afterall.

Yes, you described this really well. You don't really understand what a great car you have and understand its capabilities until you go through this school. It is very well run and a terrific experience. Definitely do the Masters as soon as you can. And yes, the Marriott hotel is great.

 

You have to take the pre requisites of the beginning 2 day and then the 2 day Masters. Unless those requirements have changed. Your skill level will increase dramatically. I would highly recommend this school. Well worth the money.

 

Sounds & looks like fun but $10k sounds expensive to me that could go a long way on some new mods.Porsche just announced there building a road course training track in So Cal (Culver City I think) & hope they offer some more reasonable classes.

 

Yeah, definitely not cheap. Anything Porsche always seems to be expensive. It will be great when they build the facility in So Cal. I think it will be in Carson near the 91 fwy. Great for us in So. Cal. Your turbo looks awesome by the way!
