Jim, it's a tough question. First, congrats on the potential purchase. That TT sounds very nice. For a cab with ceramics and only 6k miles I would generally say the price is right, so it comes down to how well this exact turbo matches your ideal car. There are so many factors to price in besides year and milage (such as location, condition, original msrp, time on market, time of year, how many similar turbos are for sale at the moment, how unique the options are on this car) that if you really like this specific one, I would pull the trigger. Get yourself that '09 Mezger engine and know you own one of Porsche's greatest creations!

I don't know - but seems high to me... I think you are getting into 997.2 territory at that price.

Local dealer has a 2010 turbo PDK couple for $114K that's been sitting on the lot for a month (14K miles, decent options - no CPO or PCCB's. CPO is worth $3K but mabye if you really want the Mezger engine and PCCB's it's worth it? I'd try and wait a bit as I feel prices are going to come down this winter (991's, economy, buy cab in winter)

Good luck!

Also - just remembered local 6speeder bought a white 2008 turbo cab this past spring for 90K from private seller. Not sure of miles.

It looks like you've maxed out how much I predict the dealer will come down in price from their list. As I remember from a previous forum thread, someone mentioned that used prices at dealers only come down 3-5% from listing. Otherwise they could just wait for the next customer. I was looking for 08 and 09 until Aug when I bought my 08, and the price looks right for dealer cpo 09's, 08's are about 10-15k lower.
