Nevermiss is on a distinguished road
I was in a similar quandary between getting a new 991 or a pre-owned 997TT. I've always wanted a turbo cab, but my budget was about $100K. I couldn't find a 2012, but I did find a low milage 2011 997.2 TTS cab for $105K. I plan to keep mine for at least a few years and drive on "top down" days. I should have it shipped to me by next week.

I had a 2006 C2S with Fister mufflers then added AWE 200 cats afterwords. I loved this setup up and had tried pretty much every exhaust available.

My friend bought a 2009 Turbo and let me take it for a cruise...I listed my C2S in the classifieds the next day because the torque was so awesome. Once I found my Turbo it only took me about 2-3 weeks before I was thinking about selling because the sound sucked. Got a lead on a Europipe exhaust and decided to try it since it would be cheaper than selling and buying again and I knew I could sell the EP for the price I paid. The EP saved the car! Although not as loud as my other setup, it does a good job of making that Porsche sound and you get to hear two Turbo's whistle. I got my dad to drive the car while I listened from from the street and it sounds really good. I'm perfectly fine with the Turbo now.
