Mercedes transmission on 997 TT
Which mercedes transmission was used on our 997 TTs?

Is it the 722.6 model?

I don't know the exact model, but I think it's the one used in the S/CL/SL 600 models.

Another thread here: Mercedes gearbox in 997/996 TT (tiptronic)?

The gearbox is made by Mercedes. You could find out which model it is by searching for build threads. Switzer made one for the Tip 997. They usually post images of the transmission builds.

Mercedes & manuals? I don't think so. Mercedes don't do high power manuals.

996tt has the internals of the s55amg and the 997tt has the internals of the s65amg,both are 722.6
