AM Plenum efficience...

Hi Spdrs!

I bolt a few weeks ago my Proto' Y-pipe, back to back dyno tests showed a +10/15hp from the bottom to the top end.
The first shoot with the stock pipe was 657hp/895Nm, the first with the new pipe was 662hp/903Nm and 2 runs later 670.5hp/901Nm, I guess the car produce now about 675hp with the ECU adapted... (Euro DIN hp)
I have to admit the gain, while real is pretty little at driving...

Ok,
While I searched threads about it, I can't find "real/independant/serious" info about the gain with AM plenums as IPD?
I guess my mods level would justify the 82 diameter with GT3 T-body, but has someone good info about it?

Thxs,

P.

Thxs for your advice Man,
But I'm not Karol, I'm Pascal!

(Karol is GTR3S-TT)

I named myself K24 because of my 993TT turbos...

I was thinking about plenum because my 997.1TT is now at the end of its mods level before rebuilding the engine and I'm not ready for it, so I'm looking for the "no snake oil" last litlle mods...
I'm thinking about better Ics too, because my Y-pipe experience demonstrated me the impact of the intake restriction.
(But I know you are aware of the dilemna: better flowing or better cooling...)

P.

Oooppss..Sorry Pascal
Keep in mind also with bigger TB it will hard to tune. We are still using stock planum and TB on 1200hp built 3.8l car.

Yes, good idea, It must be a good mod for me, but I don't know anybody really able to bolt and tune it fine 1000km around me...

The nearest must be Emre, but still far.

And I work 10/24H almost 6/7days, so no time to do it myself, even with internet assistance...

Bigger TB = hard to tune car plus minimal gain.
