New exhaust on but...

My car appears to be in limp mode. Very sluggish, no boost, stalls sometimes, check engine light. I didn't think there was anything special about the o2 sensors, unscrew , screw back in. Could they have gotten damaged? Installed a used awe tuning exhaust, could it be bad?

How do you if it's an o2 sensor, would it cause this problem?

Is a trip to the dealer in order, any chance I will do damage?

winnilaker. i had the same problem like yours when i replace my exhaust system. 1 CHECK if you have a loose boost hose . 2 Check for trouble codes . 3 check to see if the turbo actuator rod came off . 4 Reset all trouble codes and road test . I hope these procedures can help u. Good luck

gotta be a boost hose or the y-pipe has come loose. Check the code, reset it and pull the bumper off. Look at the hoses to the intercoolers. Those are the most likely culprit.

Like others have said probably something loose or maybe need a set of these bung extensions for the 02 sensors ,one of my aftermarket exhausts came with them & i know some exhausts require them.

To check codes you can use any ODB2 type tool. I have a Scangauge 2 and works great and will reset all codes as needed. You can pick up a code reader/reset tool at most auto parts stores if you are in a bind. About $50.

Sounds like you are getting un metered air. Do what the guys mentioned above.

You guys rock! Thank you, sure enough one of the hoses came loose. AWE exhaust is on and sounding awesome, feels better on throttle response already. Off to the auto store to get an ODB2 tool to reset engine light and she's back! Tuesday off to EPL for a dyno tune.
