We recently had the pleasure of bringing a GT2 RS directly to our facilities in Irvine, CA. Completed as a joint effort with GMG Racing, this car utilized upgraded GMG intercoolers and the GMG WC-GT exhaust. We were able to get a video of this beast during one of the dyno runs, and my ears are still ringing . Take a look at the video and let me know what you think!

Awesome. I remember how crazy the 996 GT2 was with ECU and exhaust. That thing is insane!

 

Sounds great, nice power, but not sure I'd flash a 250+k car and lose the warranty, jmho.

If I paid 250+k for a car I don't think people would even care about paying the warranty.

That being said, I've read that the GIAC tunes haven't been a problem with warranty and that Porsche dealerships even sell GIAC flashes (including Champion!)

 

Not according to PCNA, anything the dealer tells you about a flash not affecting warranty is pure BS. Don't believe me, ask them yourself.

 

Buy a GIAC tune through Champion motorsports and Champion Motorsports will match your factory warranty for the full 4 years and 50K miles. That's standing behind your product.

I can't help but to be happy knowing that my 996 put down 530 ALL wheel HP on the same dyno

If there was ever any question that the GIAC dyno is set up conservatively, here is a 620HP rear wheel drive Porsche putting down less than 500 at the wheels in stock trim. I have been to the GIAC facility several times and they have ample cooling etc.. set up BTW.
