First DE

So I have my first DE under wraps. What a blast, drove as fast I could and didn't get passed on my last session . However, I was lacking the turbo acceleration that last 2 sessions. In teh heat of the moment I couldn't really tell, but thinking back, now feels like I basically ran without turbo those last sessions. On way home, something was definitely not right. Turbo would show the PSI boost on the guage, but the acceleration was not there. Could hear the turbos whine but was not the same car as the morning. I know, I know, you get what you ask for. Anyways, would durametric tell me what is wrong?

I checked all hoses to Turbo and everything is snug.

Usually, if there is something wrong with the turbos, you will get a CEL. Are you sure all that fun and flat out performance driving didn't get you used to the acceleration and now you need more power to feel satisfied?

Can you hear the turbo whoosh louder then usual? If so, one of the boost hoses came off of the intercooler pipe or Y pipe. Easy fix. If you still see boost on the gauge then it is usually one side that came off.

I'm not sure about the 997, but when any one of my boost hoses come off, the car goes into limp mode - there is no mistaking it.

When a hose came loose fr my y-pipe it made boost just no power. Pull the Y-pipe towards yourself with "some" force, if its loose you'll see. No limp mode either, u could def hear air from the turbos escaping from the hose...very very noticeable.

I had that issue before after I changed exhaust, definitely not that issue. I will tug on the Y pipe and see if its there. OK newbie question the Y-Pipe is the one you see under the trunk, engine compartment right?

Its the grey pipe on top of the engine (see pic) that runs from the throttle body out to each of the coolers.

Thanks, gave a couple tugs, feels real snug. So I guess it can't be that. Taking it to EPL Thursday, sure they can figure it out.
