Push, push, push. The car wants to go STRAIGHT through every turn, there's no getting around the fact that it's a bus. That being said, mine has put up lap times close to my GT3's times - but you're left standing there afterward not sure how you did it. Then you realize that the car really did it as much as you did. As long as you can generally point the car in a direction and be able to mash the gas and brakes at the right time - it'll get you through. The car has the MOST unbelievable traction control system I've ever experienced. You can see it at work in the video. Turn it off next time, its more fun
I never ever drove GTR with traction control on !!! and never will.
you should notice on the movies deep side ways....
hmm.....its not even faster than my lotus which accelerate 100-200 in 4,6 sec....
I'm mostly driving my lotus on race track beating everything including most of radicals so I'm not sure if I'm a right person to describe GTR.
GTR is for sure much too heavy car and I feel it all the time, not sure for how long it will least with this sort of power and my driving style, (differentials, drive shafts etc) of course gearbox is reinforced incl 14 disc clutch, gears etc.....
for sure it wont be a porsche turbo or gt2 and I mean quality mostly.
You have to invest two times more to prepare GTR as a race track car than Porsche. There is also a lot of problems with body stiffness, frame is working a lot, this is caused o specific connection between gearbox and the engine when foot is out of gas pedal.
gtr would be the best car in the world when weight 1400 lilos.
btw I meet guy who is working directly for Mizuno, so we talked a lot...
here is sample of lotus acceleration
and sample of my race track driving....
