Unhappy Name these 997 wheels

Hi All-
When I bought my turbo they came with the below wheels on them. He told me they are "Champion Wheels." Well, I took a corner too fast this weekend and bumped my rear wheel into the curb. Rashed it up really bad and blew at least a control arm if not more. I need to replace the wheel but have been having one hell of a time finding it online. Anyone seen this wheel around and able to eyeball the manufacturer?

Here is my Turbo... Only difference from this pic to current is that the rear wheel has 30 degrees of negative camber.... DOH!

Also is a picture of what the wheel looks like post curb...

Ouch . . . Take it off and look on the inside barrel to see if there is any ID info. Looks like an HRE and that isn't cheap! Sorry that happened.

Sorry to see that. I am hoping that you are not driving the car now until the rear suspension is fully checked. The rear toe arm being one of the most critical pieces. I also think they are HRE wheels.

How do you know you blew a control arm? did you actually look underneath? judging from the damage, the wheel doesn't look bent, the fender is undamaged, it looks just curb rash.... may be you just need re-finishing...

The rear wheel was bent in pretty bad to the point where when I dove the car 10 feet it bounced up and down on each rotation. I called a flat bed and had it taken up to my Porsche mechanic. www.automotivetechniques.net. When I looked under the car I could see some things out of place a bit from their normal "grime line." Front and rear wheels are rashed bad. I would guess at least the rear is bent and is a throw-away along with some suspension parts.

As far as Champion Wheels.... I can't find anything that resembles them online.

However, I know Champion Motorsport is in Pompano Beach FL and I bought this car from an auto broker in Pompano Beach FL so maybe the car spent some time there. I emailed the guys at Champion and asked them. Does anyone have a link to a Champion wheel that looks like these? I guess my Mechanic will tell me what they say inside when removed- if anything....

Hard to say they are anything other than the HRE's. I can't find any Champion wheels that even look similar......

Now the question is "satin black" or "Charcoal Powdercoat."

I believe satin black is the answer....

satin black:

Charcoal

They look like they might be HRE P40 like stated above. You can tell in the details.

There will be a serial number and HRE engraved on the hub section when you remove the wheel.

If you have any questions, please email VinceB@hrewheels.com from service. He will be able to assist you and help order a replacement wheel.
